XAT 2021 Exam tomorrow - Key points to be remember

NEW DELHI- XLRI Jamshedpur, will conduct XAT 2021 on January 3 in computer based online mode. There are few guidelines which one needs to follow on the day of XAT 2021 . If a candidate fails to follow the XAT guidelines then in such a case their candidature will be cancelled.

• Please do not carry any of the prohibited items (Electronic items, handbag, purse/ wallet, jewelry, jackets, calculators, watch, etc) and only carry your XAT 2021 admit card and any one of the below Photo ID proof (original).

  • Passport

  • PAN card

  • Valid college ID card

  • Driving License

  • Employee ID card

• Do not avoid taking breakfast before going for the XAT 2021 exam.

• Follow all the instructions carefully in order to avoid any confusion.

• Candidates should bring one recent passport size photograph.

• Check the appropriate address of the allotted exam centre before leaving home.

• Reach the XAT exam centre on time to avoid last minute hustle (Candidates are not permitted into the exam hall after 9:20 AM).

• Simple dresses with plain sweaters/ cardigans are recommended to wear.

• Candidates will be allowed to enter the respective system 10 minutes before the commencement of the XAT examination.

• Guardians/ relatives/ friends accompanying the candidates are not allowed inside the test center.

• Candidates will be given rough sheets and pens inside the examination laboratory.

• Please submit the XAT admit card and rough sheets to the Invigilator after the examination.

NOTE: Candidates candidacy for the XAT entrance exam is completely temporary. If it is found that the candidates have not met the eligibility criteria, then the candidature of such candidate will be rejected at a later stage.

XAT 2021- Important guidelines for candidates on COVID-19

• Candidates must maintain social distancing norms from the point of entry till exit from the XAT 2021 exam centre

• Candidates must bring their own face mask, gloves, transparent water bottle and hand sanitizer (50 ml)

• A candidate must have the Aarogya setu app installed in their mobile phone. Candidates will have to show the dashboard of the Aarogya setu app to the security guard. In case a candidate does not have Aarogya setu app in their smartphone, then they have to bring a self declaration (it is attached with XAT admit card ) and show the same to the security guard.

• Candidates showing any symptom related to COVID 19 will not be allowed to enter inside the examination hall

• Candidates temperature will be checked by using thermo gum

• The ‘XAT ID and Lab Number’ map will not be displayed outside the exam area. But the same will be provided at the time of ID verification.

• Candidates should follow the instructions given by the delegates and stand in circles drawn at the entry points.

• At the registration desk, the candidate will be instructed to sanitize his or her hands using the provided cleaner. The photo will be taken during registration.

NOTE: All exam labs are under video surveillance, and all your activities are closely monitored. So candidates are warned not to engage in any unjust acts. Such actions may lead to the cancellation of your candidacy.

About XAT 2021

XLRI Jamshedpur conducts Xavier Aptitude Test which is popularly known as XAT annually. It is a national level management entrance exam for admission to MBA programmes. XAT 2021 is a CBT mode entrance test with the time duration of three hours.
