NEW DELHI: XLRI Jamshedpur has successfully conducted XAT 2023 on behalf of XAMI today, January 08 in computer based mode. The test was conducted at multiple XAT test centres in 79 cities. The new XAT test cities included in the list are Shillong, Jorhat, Rajkot, Tejpur, and Naharlagun. XAT provisional answer key 2023 is expected to release within a week. XAT exam timings were 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM as per the official website, xatonline.in. It is necessary for candidates to retain the XAT 2023 admit card for later selection process.
It is expected that approximately 90,000 students had applied for the exam. Here we will share XAT exam analysis after the conclusion of the exam. XLRI has concluded the XAT 2023 exam today as a computer based test. XAT exam timings were 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Check XAT exam analysis, XAT expected cutoff 2023 as well as post exam students’ reactions.
The percentile of XAT 2023 is calculated based on the scaled score of each category from which questions have been asked and the overall scaled score. The percentile score (P) of the candidate with ranking (r) in the any section of XAT exam is calculated as follows:

XAT 2022- The paper was reported to moderate to difficult.
XAT 2021- Candidates found the overall difficulty level to be difficult.
XAT 2020- The overall difficulty level of XAT exam was moderate to difficult.
XAT cutoff will vary across institutes accepting XAT scores. Last year the cutoff for XLRI Jamshedpur was 93 for male candidates and 90 for female candidates. XLRI will release the XAT cutoff for PGDM Business Management (BM) and Human Resource Management (HRM) programmes after the XAT result. Candidates can check the cutoff at the website of the respective institute.
The XAT answer key is usually released within a week of the examination. Individual XAT 2023 response sheets are expected by January 14. Candidates who appeared in the XAT 2023 exam can download the XAT exam answer keys and response sheets from the official website - xatonline.in.
XLRI will announce the XAT result 2023 on January 31, 2023. The XAT result will be released in the form of scorecard. Candidates can download XAT scorecard at the official website of XAT, xatonline.in, using the login credentials from January 31 to March 31, 2023.
After the XAT result, different institutes and XLRI will issue the XAT cutoff. Candidates will have to get the cutoff to qualify for GD/PI rounds. The following are taken into consideration to prepare the XAT cutoff.

XAT 2023 exam has been successfully conducted today by XLRI, Jamshedpur. The XAT question paper was in accordance with the XAT 2023 exam pattern announced by XLRI. XAT results are expected to be released in the last week of January, which will be followed by the initiation of the selection process in February 2023. Candidates will need their XAT registration ID and password to log in and check their XAT result 2023. It will contain the marks of the candidates, sectional percentile and over percentile.
No, most of the colleges shortlist candidates for MBA admission on the basis of overall XAT percentile. However, the candidates must aim to meet sectional cut offs too in the exam to avoid an unwanted situation at the time of admission.
GK for XAT will have 25 questions, each carrying one mark. Candidates are advised to attempt this section at the end and spare only about 15 minutes to solve it. The sectional time limit allotted to XAT GK is also 15 minutes.
Candidates have logged in to their systems in the examination hall for XAT 2022. They were first required to read all the instructions carefully and are advised not to touch the keyboard while writing the exam. This will result in the lock of the computer system.

Candidates going for the XAT exam should not forget to carry their XAT admit card. Also, they are advised to follow the exam days guidelines such as:

Do not wear heavy jewellery

Both XAT and CAT have unique features. The answer to this question cannot either be a ‘yes’ or a ‘no’ as despite being being similar in several aspects. When compared to each other they both are tough but it has often been seen that in CAT, the DILR section is more difficult than other sections and in XAT, the Quantitative Aptitude section is often tougher than the rest of the sections.
XAT, being one of the tough MBA entrance exams, requires hard work and dedication. To crack XLRI' s entrance exam in the first attempt only, it is necessary to start preparation six to seven months prior to the XAT 2023 entrance exam. The Essay Writing section in XAT 2023 makes the exam slightly lengthy.
