NEW DELHI: XLRI Jamshedpur will be conducting the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) today, January 7, 2024. The XAT 2023 exam will be conducted in Computer-based test mode in 80 plus cities across the country. The XAT 2024 exam will be held from 2 pm to 5:30 pm. The total duration of the XAT 2024 paper is 210 minutes divided into 3 parts. Part I will be of 175 minutes, part II is of 5 minutes, and part III will be for 30 minutes.

In XAT 2024, candidates will receive one mark for each correct answer, and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. There will also be a negative marking of 0.10 marks if there are more than eight unanswered questions. There will be no deduction for incorrect answers in the General Knowledge (GK) section. The marks secured in the GK section will not be used for calculating XAT overall scores.
The countdown timer located at the upper-right corner of the screen is designed to provide the candidate with the remaining time for the specific part which he/she will be attempting. This feature ensures that the candidate is always aware of the time remaining for the particular section. After reaching the time limit, Part I will automatically lock. Following that, the candidate will progress to Part II and subsequently to Part II. Leaving the test lab before completing the entire test is strictly prohibited.
