NEW DELHI: Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur will conduct the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2024 tomorrow, January 7. Candidates can download the XAT 2024 admit card from the official website, xatonline.in.

It will be mandatory for students to carry their XAT admit card 2024 along with a photo ID to the examination centre. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without the admit card.

XAT 2024 will be conducted for a duration of three hours and 30 minutes. The exam timings will be 2 pm to 5:30 pm. This year, the exam authority has revised the test timings from the morning session to afternoon session. Earlier, the test used to be held from 9:30 am to 12:40 pm.

Candidates are advised to reach the XAT 2024 examination centre at least one hour before the commencement of the exam.

According to the XAT 2024 exam pattern, the question paper will comprise of five sections – decision making, general knowledge, quantitative ability and data interpretation, analytical essay writing, and verbal and logical reasoning.

This year, the exam witnessed an increase of 40% in XAT 2024 registration as compared to last year. A total of 1,35,000 students applied for the exam.

XAT 2024: Exam day instructions

  • Carry a ballpoint pen, two hard copies of admit card, photo ID and one passport-size photograph
  • Self-attest the self-declaration form before reaching the exam centre
  • Reach the exam centre before the reporting time in order to avoid last-minute hassle
  • Electronic devices such as mobile phones, pager, watch, iPad and calculator are not allowed in the exam hall
  • Avoid carrying any eatable items inside the exam hall
  • Don’t wear jewelry and heavy outfits

XAT 2024 will be conducted in 79 cities across the country. The XAT scores will be used by over 160 institutes for admission to management programmes.
