XLRI Jamshedpur begins year-long platinum jubilee celebrations

Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishna laid the foundation stone of scholars’ residence during XLRI Jamshedpur platinum jubilee celebrations.
NEW DELHI: Xavier School of Management (XLRI Jamshedpur) is celebrating its platinum jubilee from October 11, 2023 to October 10, 2024. The institute was established in 1949.
Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishna, who was chief guest on the occasion, inaugurated the year-long XLRI platinum jubilee at Tata Auditorium on its campus today. XLRI director S George SJ felicitated Radhakrishna with the XLRI Platinum Jubilee Award For The Greater Good. The Governor also laid the foundation stone of the scholars’ residence at XLRI Jamshedpur.
During the inaugural function doctoral colloquium, POMS India international conference, international conference on ethics, industrial relations conference and two corporate conclaves were organised.
He was awarded for outstanding contributions to society and his unwavering dedication to public service. Radhakrishnan said, “XLRI is a significant milestone in Indian education, which has nurtured several leaders, leaving an indelible mark on society.”
Appreciating Tata Group, he said its commitment to solving problems in various sectors, including electricity in Mumbai, is a testament to its strong ethics.
Established 75 years ago
S George SJ, director of XLRI, said, "XLRI has been a beacon of excellence in management education for 75 years in the country. As we embark on this historic journey, we look forward to celebrating our rich legacy, engaging with our global community, and charting a course for the future that is even more remarkable."
