XLRI Jamshedpur: 108 students awarded degrees at first convocation for online programmes

NEW DELHI : The Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur (XLRI), hosted its first convocation of XLRI Online Learning (XOL) Programmes on August 17. The event was marked by the graduation of 108 students across various management specialisations in XOL programmes and was held in the presence of chief guest Madhavi Lall, the managing director of Deutsche Bank for India, at Tata Auditorium.
Lall addressed the graduating students offering insights and encouragement for their future endeavours.
The ceremony was officially inaugurated with the traditional lamp lighting by XLRI Jamshedpur director S George. The chairman of XLRI TV Narendran delivered a welcome speech, the XLRI statement said.

The highlight of the event was the showcasing of a short video of the journey of XLRI graduates. “The 108 graduates were then awarded their postgraduate diplomas. The master of ceremonies concluded the event by expressing gratitude to the chief guest and inviting the audience to stand for the National Anthem,” an XLRI statement said.
“The Postgraduate Diploma in Management - Business Management, Postgraduate Diploma in Management - Human Resource Management, and Postgraduate Diploma in Management - Finance were highlighted as key offerings that empower students to excel in their respective fields,” the statement said.
“This event not only celebrated the achievements of the graduating class but also reinforced XLRIs dedication to nurturing responsible leaders through its innovative online programmes, empowering students to excel in their respective fields,” the XLRI statement added.
