119 GLA students get placed in Tech Behemoth TCS

NEW DELHI, MAY 11: A record 119 students of the flagship B Tech programme of GLA University, Mathura found their dream job when they landed an opportunity with the tech Behemoth and India’s first company to touch 100 billion dollars valuation, TCS.

In a massive campus drive, close to 400 students took part in the online and offline tests. Out of those, 168 students were shortlisted for the interview. Post the interview, 119 students were finally selected to work for the largest company in the country. The officials of the company were all praise for the university and said that TCS has been visiting GLA for the past many years and its alumni are doing wonderful job in the company, many of whom are doing research in overseas locations.

They said that the teaching pedagogy being adopted at the university has been able to inculcate the right set of learning principles which has been instrumental in terms of getting them this wonderful opportunity. Treasurer and Secretary Society Shri Neeraj Agrawal said that the university has been at the forefront in terms of getting the students every possible opportunity which would enable them towards a promising future and in this regard keeps on innovating with the teaching pedagogy as per the inputs received from various stakeholders as a result of which the university has been able to place students in commendable numbers and in reputed organizations.
