194 IMT Hyderabad PGDM students placed; highest CTC is Rs 16 lakh per annum
IMT Hyderabad placements 2021: Consulting was the highest recruiting sector. Amazon, Marico, Deloitte, HCL, Genpact, Oracle, Cognizant, SBI participated.

NEW DELHI: Of the 198 students to participate in the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Hyderabad phase one placements 2021, 194 PGDM (Postgraduate Diploma in Management) students were placed. The highest annual salary package received by students is Rs 16 lakh per annum. The average annual salary this year is Rs 9.28 lakh whereas the median salary remained Rs 8.5 lakh.
Around 45 companies participated in the placement drive this year. The consulting sector remained the highest recruiting sector and students received the most profiles of consulting, management trainee (future leaders), and marketing.

With 20 new recruiters in the placement drive, the top recruiting companies are Amazon, Marico, Cognizant, Deloitte, Genpact, HCL, Oracle, Reliance Retail, SBI Life Insurance etc. Marico made the highest offer to students.
Other companies which participated in the drive are Aditya Birla (Madura Fashions), Advance Autoparts, Arcesium, Berkedia, BYJU'S, Digit General Insuranc, EPAM, FactSet, Hexaware Technologies, ICICI Bank, Khimji Ramdas LLC, KPMG, Micron, Oxane Partners, Spotflock, Tata Advanced Systems Ltd, TBRC, Tredence, Tresvista, Trinami, VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd, Verity Knowledge Services, Wipro, Akash Educational Services Limited, GATI KWE, Invesco, Logit One Technologies.

The top 10 offers made to students were of Rs 13.61 lakh while the top 20 offers were of Rs 12.65 lakh per annum. The top 50 offers made to students were of Rs 11.51 lakh whereas the top 100 were of Rs 10.10 lakh.
The consulting sector hired 40% of students; IT, ITES hired 18%; BFSI 16%; financial services 10%; retail and commerce 5%; and 11% others.
According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), in the 2019-20 academic year, 204 students graduated from IMT Hyderabad of which 191 were placed with the median salary of Rs 7 lakh. IMT Hyderabad ranked 63 in management in NIRF ranking 2021.
