633 candidates yet to receive refund on NEET UG, PG counselling 2020, says MCC

NEET UG, PG Counselling 2022: MCC has requested the candidates to provide an affidavit in a prescribed format to process the refund again.
NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed that the refund of NEET UG, PG counselling 2020 for 633 candidates could not be processed due to various reasons. MCC has requested the candidates to provide an affidavit in a prescribed format to process the refund again.

According to the MCC notice, “MCC has received information from our Financial Custodian that refunds to 633 candidates, as per the attached list, could not be processed due to various reasons such as (accounts have been closed and changed, chargeback claims etc.,) therefore, Bankers could not complete the refund of the security deposit.”
“Our Financial Custodian is under process of refunding the security deposit for the remaining 633 candidates,” the notice further informed.
The MCC has also released the list of roll numbers and mode of payment of candidates and provided a chance for them to claim the refund.
“The mentioned candidates are requested to provide an affidavit incorporating format as mentioned ANNEXURE A, the said affidavit has to be duly signed and should be notarized along with all documents required to be sent on bank_aiiacc@lifecarehll.com to enable our financial custodian to initiate the refund again, the notice read.
Candidates who are yet to receive their refund, can fill the form in the format mentioned on the official website, mcc.nic.in, and send it to the email address given above.
NEET UG, PG Counselling: Documents to be attached for refund
- Copy of Aadhaar Card,
- Admit card bearing roll number (UG/PG/SS),
- Details of bank account from which the amount was remitted,
- Details of bank account to which the amount is to be refunded,
- Scanned copy of passbook or cancelled cheque of an account to which the amount of refund is to be made.
NEET PG 2021 counselling has been put on hold due to the pending case in the Supreme Court challenging the validity of the EWS, OBC reservation. Since the apex court has adjourned the hearing till November 16, it is expected that a NEET PG counselling 2021 will begin after the court order.
NEET-UG counselling 2021 will be held for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc & AH and BSc Nursing courses after the NEET result 2021 is announced by the NTA.
