Interested candidates should go through the prospectus to check eligibility criteria for courses.
New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on Tuesday (April 7) released a notification informing that postgraduate (PG) admissions for the academic year 2026-27 will begin shortly after the results of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET- PG) 2026 are declared.
The university has advised candidates who seek admission in the university to carefully go through the JNU PG prospectus 2026-27 to make sure that they meet the prescribed criteria.
According to the prospectus that was released last week, candidates seeking admission to MA, MSc, MPH, M Tech, PG Diploma, and Advanced Diploma programmes are required to have appeared for the CUET (PG) 2026. Admissions to the MSc (Biotechnology) and MSc (Computational Biology programmes) will be based on the GAT-B score, the university said. Admissions to the M Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering programmes at the School of Engineering will be conducted through centralised counselling for M Tech (CCMT).
The university notification also advised applicants to keep all relevant documents ready in advance, which include caste or category certificate (if applicable), educational qualification certificates and marksheets, as well as income certificate for wherever applicable. "Detailed information regarding the admission portal, schedule, and application procedure will be notified in due course," the JNU notification informed. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the CUET PG 2026 answer key shortly.
