AIAPGET 2026 registration begins for MD, MS admissions in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani courses; apply by July 30

AIAPGET 2026: The computer-based college entrance test will be held on August 22 for two hours in 122 cities across the country. The question paper will contain 120 MCQs, carrying 480 marks.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened applications for the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026 on its official website at exams.nta.nic.in/aiapget/. Candidates seeking admission to MD, MS in Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani courses at institutions, universities and deemed colleges across the country can fill the AIAPGET application form by July 30 up to 9 pm.
The NTA will open the correction window to edit AIAPGET 2026 application form from August 1 to 2 for registered candidates.
The computer-based college entrance test AIAPGET 2026 will be conducted on August 22 for a duration of 2 hours. As per the exam pattern, the question paper will contain 120 objective-type multiple choice questions (MCQs).
The AIAPGET 2026 question paper will carry a total of 480 marks and will be conducted in 122 cities across the country. The medium of the question paper will be in Ayurveda (Hindi and English), Homoеopathy (English only), Siddha (Tamil and English), and Unani (Urdu and English).
AIAPGET 2026: Registration fee, eligibility, exam date
General category candidates should have to pay Rs 2,700 as AIAPGET 2026 application fee, whereas, those belonging to General- Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC)- Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) can pay Rs 2,450 as registration charges.
Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and third gender candidates should have to pay Rs 1,800 as registration charges.
Candidates can pay the fee through net-banking, debit, credit card or UPI mode.
As per the marking scheme of AIAPGET 2026, aspirants will be given four marks for each correct answer, while one mark will be taken away for wrong response.
No marks will be awarded for unanswered questions, as per the official brochure.
According to the eligibility criteria, candidates planning to appear for AIAPGET 2026 must have a BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS Graded BHMS Degree or provisional pass certificate recognized and possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of BAMS, BUMS BSMS, BHMS or Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the erstwhile CCIM, erstwhile CCH, NCISM, NCH, State, UT Board.
They should also have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship as per the NCISM, NCH notification.
