NEW DELHI: The Bar Council of India (BCI) is expected to declare the All India Bar Examination 19 (AIBE XIX) results soon for all candidates who appeared in the exam. The AIBE 19 result link will be hosted on the official website, allindiabarexamination.com. Those who qualify the exam will be eligible to practice law in India.
The council conducted the AIBE exam on December 22 and uploaded the answer keys on December 28. Those who are not satisfied with the provisional answer key were allowed to raise objections till January 10.
The AIBE final answer key will be prepared after the subject experts review the challenges. In a latest update, the BCI notified about the mismatch between the QP booklet number and OMR answer sheet serial number, and assured that it will evaluate based on the question set number filled by the candidate in the OMR sheet.
As per the AIBE passing criteria, general and OBC candidates will have to score 45% to be declared qualified and SC, ST, disabled candidates will have to obtain a minimum score of 40%.
A total of 1,44,014 students appeared for the AIBE 18 exam, of which, 69,646 candidates were declared pass. As per the results, 51.63% candidates failed to qualify the exam.

A total of 1,44,014 students appeared for the AIBE 18 exam, of which, 69,646 candidates were declared pass, as per last year’s result. The BCI, in its reply to an RTI, said 4,700 candidates were marked absent and 74,368 candidates failed, which is around 51.63%.

General and OBC candidates will have to obtain a minimum score of 45% to be declared qualified in All India Bar Examination (AIBE 19). Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories will have to score 40% to clear the exam.
