BCI to conduct AIBE 20 on November 30; registration starts on September 29

The Bar Council of India (BCI) will conduct the All India Bar Examination (AIBE 20) exam on November 30. Candidates can apply for AIBE 20 on the official website, allindiabarexamination.com, from September 29 onwards. AIBE 20 live updates

As per the AIBE 20 eligibility criteria, law graduates or those appearing in the final year of the 3-year or 5-year LLB programmes without any backlog can register for the AIBE 20 through the official portal.

“Any candidate, whether currently a student or a graduate, who is studying or has passed out from a university or college that is not recognised or approved by the Bar Council of India, will not be eligible to appear for AIBE. It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure their educational institution is duly recognised by the BCI,” the official AIBE website reads.

The AIBE registration 2025 fee is Rs 3,560 for general and OBC candidates, and SC and ST candidates have to pay Rs 2,560. Students who want to practice law in India as lawyers have to clear the bar examination, conducted by the BCI.

AIBE 20 schedule 2025

The schedule for AIBE 20 is as follows.

According to the official BCI notice, the passing percentage is fixed at 45% for general and Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 40% for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and disabled candidates.
