AICTE and BPRandD launched the online hackathon MANTHAN 2021 today at 1pm, Ministry of Education announced on social media.
NEW DELHI: The All India Council for Technical Education and the Bureau of Police Research and Development launched the online hackathon MANTHAN 2021 today at 1pm, the Ministry of Education said in a social media post. The registration to participate in the event has begun on MANTHAN official website manthan.mic.gov.in.
“Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE and Sh. Neeraj Sinha, IPS, ADG, Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) to jointly launch MANTHAN-2021 on August 26, 2021, at 1:00 PM,” Ministry of Education said in a social media post.

The final round of the online hackathon will be held from November 28 to December 1 wherein selected students from educational institutions across the country and registered start-ups will participate to offer technology solutions, as per an official statement.
The participants will provide digital solutions under 6 themes for 20 different challenge statements like artificial intelligence, deep learning, augmented reality, machine learning, and others. The winning teams will receive a prize of Rs 40 lakhs.
“Hackathon MANTHAN 2021 is a unique national initiative to identify innovative concepts and technology solutions for addressing the security challenges of the 21st century faced by our intelligence agencies,” the official statement said.
