AICTE with CTE, APSSDC launch international training programme on SOC and open XDR

NEW DELHI: The Consortium for Technical Education (CTE), in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), launch an international training programme on security operations centre (SOC) and open extended detection and response (XDR).
The five-day training programme will provide participants with an in-depth understanding of SOC principles and empower them to utilise the open XDR platform for advanced threat detection, analysis, and response according to CTE.

The programme will commence on August 28 at K L University in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The training programme will provide participants with a learning experience and equip them with essential skills in SOC and Open XDR.
K A Alagarsamy, director of the Consortium for Technical Education said, "We embark on an exciting journey through a series of training programs in emerging technologies, in close collaboration with Government agencies. Participants can anticipate a dynamic learning experience where they will delve into the core mechanics of SOC and gain hands-on competency to channel the potential of the open XDR platform for advanced analytics."
According to CTE, the curriculum of the programme will have modules on the evolution of security monitoring, key SOC processes and practices, threat intelligence, threat hunting, and more. Participants attending the programme should have a foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
