AICTE PG scholarship scheme registration deadline extended till January 20

GATE, GPAT, CEED qualified candidates can apply for the PG scholarship at pgscholarship.aicte-india.org. Students will get a scholarship of Rs 12,400.
NEW DELHI : The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has extended the last date to apply for the postgraduate scholarship scheme till January 20, 2023. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the AICTE PG scholarship on the official portal- pgscholarship.aicte-india.org.
“The last date for the submission of oniine applications under AICTE PG Scholarship Scheme has been extended till 20th January 2023,” read AICTE’s official notification.

According to the official notification from AICTE, while the last date to register for the scholarship is January 20, the last date for student verification by respective institutions including re-submitted defective applications at AICTE web portal is January 31.
“The students who are eligible and are admitted in the AICTE approved institutions and AICTE approved courses, as per scheme guidelines, may submit their application in the portal. The students are advised to submit their online applications well in time so that their institutions are able to verify applications within the prescribed timelines. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained,” AICTE added. The council also advised the eligible institutions to verify applications of their students immediately after receiving applications on the portal.

AICTE awards scholarship of Rs 12,400 per month to full-time GATE, GPAT, CEED qualified students admitted to AICTE-approved post graduate programmes in AICTE approved institutions or university departments as per approved intake.
The duration of the AICTE PG Scholarship is 24 months or for the duration of the course starting from the date of commencement of classes till the date of completion of the classes whichever is lower and is not extendable under any circumstances.
