AIIMS CRE-5 cancelled at Jaipur centre after power failure; re-exam on September 7

The institute will issue the AIIMS CRE-5 re-examination admit card soon on its official portal at aiimsexams.ac.in.
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the re-conduct of the AIIMS CRE-5 exam, which was cancelled at the ION Digital Zone IDZ Sitapura, Jaipur due to power failure. The institute will conduct the AIIMS CRE-5 re-examination on September 7, 2026.

) exam was conducted from 9 am to 12 noon today at ION Digital Zone IDZ Sitapura, Jaipur.
“The examination scheduled on 31.08.2026 in Morning Shift at ION Digital Zone IDZ Sitapura, Jaipur (RJ0101/RJ0102), was interrupted due to power failure at the venue. Accordingly, the Competent Authority decided to cancel the examination at the said Centre/Shift. After examining the matter and in the interest of all affected candidates, the Competent Authority has decided to re-conduct the examination only for the said centre,” the notification read.
The examination at the
Jaipur centre
was disrupted by the power failure, resulting in a 30 minutes delay in starting the exam. Therefore, the authority decided to cancel the exam for the affected centre and shift.
According to the official notification, the re-examination will be held only for the candidates who appeared at the Jaipur centre and shift. The institute will issue the AIIMS CRE-5 re-examination admit card soon on its official portal, the notification read.
It has also notified that all terms and conditions, contained in the original advertisement and subsequent notices shall remain applicable. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website for updates, it added.
The AIIMS CRE-5 was held to fill 1,484 group B and C non-faculty positions across multiple AIIMS institutes and participating central government organizations.
