AIIMS Delhi Nursing Admissions 2026: BSc choice filling open; MSc round 1 allotment on August 6

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has issued counselling updates for candidates seeking admission to its nursing programmes for the August 2026 session. Online choice-filling process for BSc (Hons.) Nursing and BSc Allied & Health Care courses is underway. AIIMS Delhi has released the final revised online seat allotment schedule for MSc Nursing admissions.

AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 choice filling begins

According to an official notice issued on July 30, eligible candidates can exercise their choices for AIIMS institutes and preferred subjects or specialities for admission to BSc (Hons.) Nursing and BSc Allied & Health Care courses till August 6, 2026. The choice-filling process will be applicable for all counselling rounds except the open round, if conducted.

AIIMS has not yet announced the dates for seat allotment or reporting. Candidates will be able to access the counselling portal through the "MyPage" section using the login credentials created while submitting their entrance examination application.

AIIMS has clarified that the second round of counselling will begin only after the completion of the first round, and fresh choice filling will not be conducted for the second round. Choices submitted during the first round will automatically be considered for subsequent seat allotment.

AIIMS MSc Nursing counselling schedule

In a separate notice issued on July 31, AIIMS released the final revised schedule for the online seat allotment process for MSc Nursing admissions. As per the revised timeline, the round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on August 6, while candidates allotted seats must report to institute by August 12.

The list of vacant seats will be published on August 19, followed by the declaration of the second-round seat allotment on the same day. Those allotted seats in the second round must complete online acceptance, reporting, submission of documents and payment of the security deposit by August 25. Reporting at allotted institutes will be permitted from Monday to Friday up to 4 pm, while on Saturdays, candidates can report only till 12 noon.

For MSc Nursing admissions, candidates will not be allowed to modify or submit fresh choices before the second round. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on official website for updates on counselling and admission.
