Use NowAll India Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi (AIIMS Delhi) has opened registrations for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) January 2026 counselling session. A total of 32,374 candidates who qualified the AIIMS INI CET exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.
Candidates belonging to OBC and EWS categories who have obtained lower than the INI CET cut-off rank of unreserved (UR) and failed to produce a valid category certificate will not be allowed to take part in the INI CET January 2026 counselling.
Admission to PG courses of INIs – MD, MS, 6-year DM and MCH, and MDS – will be filled through the selection process. Last year, 160 PG seats remained unfilled, and an RTI response confirmed that 48 of these were officially vacant, across various AIIMS institutes and JIPMER Puducherry.
Seat allocation in AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS will be done as per the roster point allocation for counselling (dynamic) which will be announced separately. The same process will be followed by JIPMER Puducherry.
No seats are available for institute preference at National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) Bengaluru, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh, and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) Trivandrum.
