AILET 2024 registration begins tomorrow at nludelhi.ac.in; exam date, eligibility

NEW DELHI: The National Law University, Delhi will start the registration process for All India Law Entrance Test-2024 (AILET 2024) for admission to five-year BA LLB (Hons), LLM and PhD programmes for the academic year 2024-25. As per the schedule, AILET 2023 exam will be conducted on December 10.
Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will have to submit the AILET 2023 application form through the official website, nludelhi.ac.in. Along with the AILET exam date 2023, the NLU announced that the test will be held between 11 AM to 12.30 PM.
Those belonging to unreserved categories, should pay a AILET 2023 registration fee of Rs 3,500 and candidates under SC, ST and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) categories will have to deposit Rs 1,500.
AILET 2024: Eligibility and seats
Candidates applying for LLB, LLM and PhD courses should check the eligibility before proceeding to fill the application form.
BA LLB Admission 2024 - Applicants should have passed Class 12 with 45% aggregate marks, 40% for SC, ST, PwD candidates. Those appearing for Class 12 board exam will also be eligible. One hundred and ten seats will be filled through AILET merit 2024. Five seats each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO for direct admission on merit.
LLM Admission 2024 - Candidates should have completed LLB course with 50% marks and those belonging to SC, ST, PwD categories should have secured 45%. Candidates appearing for the final year LLB annual examination in 2023 are eligible to apply. A total of 70 seats will be allotted under this course through AILET and 5 seats each under foreign nationals category and OCI/PIO direct admission.
PhD Admission 2024 - Those who have completed LLM or an equivalent law degree with 55% marks and SC, ST, PwD candidates with 50% can apply. Five seats each for UGC-JRF, AILET merit, 4 seats under fellowship through AILET and 2 for foreign nationals. UGC JRF candidates and foreign nationals are exempt from the AILET.
