Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham: 88% BTechs placed; Rs 56.96 lakh highest salary

NEW DELHI: The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham deemed-to-be university witnessed 88 percent placements for the BTech 2021 batch with the highest salary offered to be Rs 56.95 lakh per annum.

More than 200 companies participated in the Amrita university placement process for BTech students. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a deemed-to-be university, with the institution of eminence status. The institution was given NAAC A++ grade by NIRF and has been ranked 5th in India by NIRF rankings 2021.

Candidates are required to pass an entrance examination by the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham to get admission to the B.Tech programmes offered by the university at Amritapuri, Amaravati, Bengaluru, Coimbatore and Chennai campuses of the school of engineering at the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2022 (AEEE 2022) will be conducted in June and July 2022, says the official website of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

The institution has reserved 50 percent of its BTech seats for meritorious students who score high rank in AEEE 2022, JEE Mains 2022, SAT and PUEE. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will also provide scholarship seats based on the rank and branch opted by the candidate. 50 percent of seats are also under scholarship. Scholarship will be provided in the subsequent years based on the CGPA scored.
