Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham: MBA students placed with Rs 6.74 lakh average salary; Rs 19.17 lakh highest

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham placement drive for the MBA 2022 batch saw about 250 offers made by more than 79 companies.

NEW DELHI: The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham deemed-to-be university placements drive for the MBA 2022 batch saw about 250 offers made by more than 79 companies with the highest salary offered at Rs 19.17 lakh per annum and the average salary at Rs 6.74 lakh per annum.

Out of the 315 students who enrolled for the course, 296 had participated in the placement drive, said a statement from the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. About 40 first-time recruiters participated in the placement process, it said.

The information technology and professional services (consulting-accounting) sector made the most number of offers during the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham placement drive. BNY Mellon made the highest offer. Deloitte, PwC, HCL Technologies and Cognizant were the other major recruiting companies during the placement event, claimed the institution.

The highest recruiting domain at the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham placement event was marketing specialization. The most number of profile offered was that of management trainee, sales manager and unit sales manager-agency. Most job opportunities offered had the function of sales and business development, it said.
