Try NowNEW DELHI: Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will now declare Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET 2024) results after May 31, as per officials. Candidates will be able to check their AP EAMCET results 2024 through the official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

After the AP EAMCET results 2024 are declared, counselling process will be conducted on the basis of merit to offer admission into engineering, bio-technology, BTech Dairy Technology, BTech Agricultural Engineering, BTech Food Science and Technology, BSc Agriculture or BSc Horticulture, BVSc and AH or BFSc and B Pharmacy, Pharm D programmes.
Last year, over 2 lakh candidates appeared in AP EAPCET engineering stream and over 1 lakh in agriculture stream. Of this, 76% of candidates passed in engineering while 89% qualified in agriculture stream.
The council has asked the candidates who appeared in the state-level entrance exam to upload the marks of the qualifying exam. Students who have cleared Class 12 and who were awaiting results while applying for the exam, can now update the academic details through the official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
AP EAMCET tie-breaking rule
The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), conducting body of AP EAPCET 2024, held the exam for engineering, agriculture and pharmacy admissions from May 16 to May 24 in two shifts. The council will use a normalisation method to convert the raw scores and prepare the rank list. However, if two or more candidates score the same mark, the officials will use a tie-breaking method in the order given below.
- Candidate who have highest mark in the mathematics section
- Candidate with highest marks in physics
- Candidate with a high passing mark in the qualifying exam.
- Candidate who is older in age.
