The Phase 1 seat allotment of Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) counselling 2025 will be published tomorrow, July 10, 2025. Candidates can check the AP POLYCET seat allotment result 2025 on the official website - polycetap.nic.in.

AP POLYCET exam has one main round of counselling, in which seats will be allotted to students based on their rank, their preferences for courses and colleges, and availability of seats in Andhra Pradesh. If seats remain vacant after Phase 1, phases of counselling may be conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET).

AP POLYCET: Popular courses

Students will gain admission to various diploma courses via the AP POLYCET 2025 result . Some of the popular courses are computer engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering.

While qualifying the AP POLYCET exam is mandatory for admission to polytechnic courses in Andhra Pradesh, simply qualifying the exam does not guarantee admission. Candidates must also fulfill the eligibility criteria in order to be considered for seat allotment. It includes clearing Class 10 from a recognised board, with mathematics as one of the subjects.

There are 258 institutes participating in the AP POLYCET counselling for 25 engineering courses, three non-engineering courses, and eight sandwich courses available. Some of the competitive polytechnic colleges in Andhra Pradesh are:
