NEW DELHI: The Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) 2025 conference will take place in New Delhi from March 24 to 28, bringing together over 2,000 participants from more than 60 countries.
Under the French Pavilion coordinated by Campus France, 35 French institutions and nearly 120 delegates, along with five diplomatic representations from Asia, will participate in APAIE 2025. The APAIE 2025 will take place at Yashoboomi, Booth E15.
The APAIE 2025 conference aims to foster academic collaborations and student mobility partnerships, with France aiming to host 30,000 Indian students by 2030. Established in 2004 in Seoul, APAIE offers a platform for international academic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. The APAIE 2025 conference emphasizes the role of higher education in addressing global challenges through research collaboration and diversity inclusion.
Currently, over 400 agreements exist between French and Indian institutions, facilitating student exchanges, dual-degree programmes, and credit transfers.
As part of APAIE 2025, Campus France will present a poster session on ‘the career paths of Asia-Pacific alumni’ students who pursued education in France. Findings from a survey of 10,000 alumni, including 1,200 from India, China, and Vietnam, reveal:
This presentation will be held at Yashoboomi on March 26 from 1:15 pm to 2 pm.

According to UNESCO (2022), 2.6 million students from the Asia-Pacific region were engaged in international degree programs. In 2023-24, France hosted 55,000 students from the region, representing 13% of its international student population. Mobility from India (+12%) and China (+6%) has seen a rise, contributing to an overall 13% increase in student movement to France between 2023 and 2024.
