APPGCET 2022 exam schedule out; admit card to be issued on August 25

The entrance exam of AP PGCET 2022 will be held on September 3, 4, 7, 10, 11 in computer-based mode by Yogi Vemana University.
NEW DELHI: Yogi Vemana University will conduct the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (APPGCET) 2022 on September 3, 4, 7, 10 and 11. The university has released the complete schedule of the AP PGCET exam.
APPGCET 2022 will be held for 147 test subjects. As many as 39,359 students have applied for APPGCET 2022. The maximum number of applications were received for chemical sciences (9899) followed by life sciences (5960).
The APPGCET 2022 application process was closed on August 18. The hall ticket of APPGCET 2022 will be issued on August 25.
The entrance exam will be conducted in three shits - 9:30 am to 11 am, 1 pm to 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm to 6 pm. The maximum duration of the AP PGCET entrance exam 2022 will be 90 minutes.

There will be no test for subjects like Urdu, Sanskrit, Tamil, performing arts and music, tourism, folklore, geography, performing arts and BFA, owing to the less number of applications. The admissions to these courses will be done based on the merit.
It must be noted that the candidates qualified in computer science test of AP PGCET 2022 are also eligible for admission into M.Sc. digital forensic and information security and M.Sc. cyber security courses.
AP PGCET is conducted for admission to postgraduate programmes such as MA, MSc, MCom, MEd, MPEd, MCJ, etc offered by Andhra Pradesh state funded universities including Andhra University, Yogi Vemana University, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Sri Venkateswara University, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Rayalaseema University, Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswa Vidyalam, Dr B.R. Ambedkar University, Cluster University, Vikrama Simhapuri University, Dravidian University, etc.
