APSC invites applications for 650 junior engineer posts; registration begins on February 5

NEW DELHI: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has issued the notification for the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment exam 2025. As per the official notification, the APSC JE 2025 registration window will be open on February 5, 2025. Eligible candidates can fill out the APSC JE 2025 application form through the official website, apsc.nic.in.
This APSC recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 650 vacancies for junior engineer posts. Out of these, 390 posts are reserved for women candidates. The last date to register for the APSC JE exam 2025 is March 4, 2025, while the deadline for payment of the application fee is March 6, 2025.

APSC JE 2025 eligibility criteria
Candidates can check the APSC JE 2025 eligibility criteria given below.

Citizenship and residency: The candidate must be an Indian citizen as per Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India. They must also be a permanent resident of Assam.

Age Criteria: Candidates must be between 21 years old and 40 years old of age as of January 1, 2025.

Relaxations in the upper age limit are available as follows:

Up to 45 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST).

Up to 43 years for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) and More Other Backward Classes (MOBC), as per government notification ABP. 6/2016/51 dated September 2, 2020.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must complete a three-year diploma in civil engineering, civil engineering and planning, or construction technology from a technical institute recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The diploma course must be a regular course. Diplomas obtained through distance education, irrespective of the terminology, will not be considered.

Candidates must upload their semester-wise/year-wise mark sheets showing the subjects studied and the final pass certificate as supporting documents.
