Ashoka University records 100% placements for 2025-26 batch; highest package Rs 42.5 lakh

Ashoka University has recorded 100% placements among students seeking employment from its 2025-26 graduating batch, with students receiving more than 450 job offers from 163 organisations, including 78 new recruiters. The highest salary package stood at Rs 42.5 lakh per annum, secured by a computer science student.

The university also reported strong higher education outcomes, with 135+ students securing more than 400 offers from leading global universities. The graduating cohort received 24 offers from Oxford and Cambridge universities, commonly referred to as Oxbridge, and 24 offers from Ivy League institutions.

The average CTC for the top 20% of placed students was Rs 22.5 lakh, while the median CTC for the same group stood at Rs 22 lakh.

Placement trends across sectors

Around 80% of the placed students joined six major sectors. Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) accounted for the largest share at 20%, with an average CTC of Rs 12.7 lakh, up 3% from the previous year.

Consulting accounted for 18% of placements and recorded an average CTC of Rs 16 lakh, marking a 30% rise over the previous year. The Development and Social Impact sector accounted for 15% of placements, with the average CTC increasing 11% to Rs 11.5 lakh.

Technology made up 9% of placements, with the average CTC rising 26% to Rs 15.1 lakh. Data, research and analytics also accounted for 9% of placements and recorded a 26% increase in average CTC to Rs 13.5 lakh. EdTech and education represented 7% of placements, with the average CTC increasing 25% to Rs 11.9 lakh.

Ashoka University students secure global university offers

The university said its graduating students also recorded a strong performance in higher education admissions. Students secured 24 Oxbridge offers, compared with 15 in the previous year, while Ivy League offers increased to 24 from 13.

Students also received partial scholarships ranging from 10% to 80% for master's programmes at universities and institutions including Yale, Columbia, the University of Pennsylvania, Brown, Sciences Po, Oxford, Cambridge, the London School of Economics, Hertie School and the National University of Singapore.

The graduating cohort secured 19 top international scholarships in a single year. These included the Rhodes, Gates Cambridge, Fulbright-Nehru, Chevening and Erasmus Mundus scholarships.

In addition, students received 16 PhD admissions, of which 12 were fully funded.
