Assam HS 2024 board exam begins today; timings, important instructions

NEW DELHI: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will conduct the Assam HS exam 2024 from today, February 12. Assam Class 12 exams 2024 will be held from February 12 to March 13, 2024. The duration of the Assam HS 2024 exam is 3 hours.

The Assam Class 12 board exams will be conducted in two shifts- first shift to be held from 9 am to 12 noon, and the second shift from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Students will get an extra 15 minutes to read the question paper before the start of Assam 12th board exam 2024.

The minimum passing marks in Assam HS exams 2024 for all subjects is 30%. Students should pass both theory and practical to qualify the Assam HS exam 2024. Students are required to obtain qualifying marks of 30% in theory and 50% in practical exam separately for subjects with practical exams.

Students should carry their Assam HS admit card 2024 along with their school Id to the exam centre. Students who fail to bring the Assam Class 12 admit card will not be allowed to sit for the board exams 2024.

Assam HS 2024: Exam day guidelines

Students appearing for the Assam HS 2024 board exam should follow the following guidelines.

• Students are not allowed to carry any electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, ear phones, calculators, smart watches, etc.
• Students are not allowed to carry any sophisticated pencil box inside the exam hall.
• Students should bring all the essential items such as Assam HS 2024 admit card and school ID.
• Students should reach the exam center an hour before the commencement of the exam.
• Candidates should report to the allotted room number and sit in the respective seat.
• Candidates should do all the rough work on the writing pad given by the invigilator.
• Candidates should obey the instructions given by the invigilator.
