Use NowThe Director of Medical Education, Assam has started the choice filling and locking for the Assam National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET PG) 2025 today. Eligible candidates can fill their preferences for colleges and programmes through the official website at dme.assam.gov.in.
The Assam NEET PG 2025 counselling choice filling and locking link to select preferences for MD, MS and post graduate diploma courses can be accessed using the login details such as application number, username, password and date of birth.
A total of 482 seats are to be filled through the Assam NEET PG 2025 counselling at various government and private medical colleges across the state.

Assam NEET PG 2025 Counselling: Instructions
“Candidates must fill in at least 1 preference before locking. Any form locked without filling in any preference will be considered as a candidate not participating in the counselling process,” according to the official notification.
Notably, after login the choice filling and locking window, candidates must not forget that the login facility may expire within 10 minutes if there is no activity. They must click on the ‘save preferences’ button frequently to save the changes.
The last saved preferences will be locked after clicking the ‘logout button.’ Candidates can choose a maximum of 109 preferences.
“Candidates who do not lock their preferences before the closure of the process of Online Choice Filling as notified will have their choices locked automatically in the last saved position. It is therefore advisable for candidates to lock their choices reasonably early,” the notification reads.
As per the Assam NEET PG 2025 counselling round 1 schedule, the seat allotment results will be announced on November 27. Candidates who will be allotted seats under the Assam NEET PG 2025 counselling round 1 seat allotment, will have to report to their allotted colleges between December 2 and 3.
