Assam NEET PG 2025 stray round merit list out for MD, MS; report to college by February 28

Assam NEET PG Counselling 2025: A total of 190 MD and MS candidates have been shortlisted in the stray vacancy round under the state quota seats.

Use NowThe Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has published the stray vacancy round merit list for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2025 for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) programmes. A total of 190 candidates have qualified in the stray vacancy round under the state quota seats.
Candidates can check the Assam NEET PG 2025 stray vacancy round merit list on the official website, dme.assam.gov.in.
According to the Assam NEET PG merit list, 21 candidates were shortlisted under the Scheduled Tribes (Plains) category, and 8 under the Scheduled Tribes (Hills) category, while 41 candidates were selected under the State Health Quota (SHQ), and no candidates were shortlisted under the PwD category.

As per the provisional selection list, MD Community Medicine was the most chosen subject, and Gauhati Medical College was the most preferred college in the stray vacancy round of NEET PG counselling 2025.
Candidates allotted seats in Assam NEET PG stray vacancy round will have to report to their respective colleges between February 27 and 28.
All admitted candidates, including the State health services quota, will have to sign a registered agreement on Rs 100 stamp paper within two weeks, as per the Assam PG Medical admission rules 2021.
Assam NEET PG Counselling 2025: Documents required
Candidates will have to produce the following documents for verification during the Assam NEET PG 2025 counselling process .
- NEET PG admit card and score card
- MBBS degree certificate
- Class 10, 12 mark sheet
- Birth certificate
- Valid ID proof
- Reservation certificate (if applicable)
- Domicile certificate (if applicable)
