NEW DELHI: Banaras Hindu University, BHU, has begun accepting applications for admission to LKG, nursery, class 1, and class 6 for the academic year 2023–24. The BHU school admission 2023 is being held online through the official website bhuonline.in. Aspiring students can fill out the application form till March 30, 2023.
The university has opened the application window for admission in the following schools and classes;
- Central Hindu Girls’ School, Kamachha, Varanasi - LKG
- Central Hindu School, RGSC, Barkachha, Mirzapur - Nursery
- Shri Ranvir Sanskrit Vidyalaya, Kamachha, Varanasi - Class 1
- Central Hindu Girls’ School, Kamachha, Varanasi and Central Hindu Boys’ School, Kamachha, Varanasi - Class 6
The admission of BHU employee ward applicants will be carried out first followed by the 3 percent of the seats to Divyang (OH) applicants by lottery. Whereas, the remaining seats will be allocated by e-lottery to reserved candidates, followed by the unreserved candidates. The waiting list of each lot will be prepared separately.
The candidates belonging to Schedule Caste (SC) and Schedule Tribes (ST) will have to pay Rs 500 as a registration fee, while candidates belonging to general, economically weaker section (EWS), Divyang (OH) and BHU employee ward will have to pay Rs 750 as registration fee.
