BHU UG Admission 2024: Mop-up round schedule out; choice filling begins from October 4

BHU UG Mop-Up Round 2024: The seat allotment result will be declared on October 7 at 5 pm.
NEW DELHI: The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has decided to fill vacant seats through mop-up round allotment, the process of which would be similar to spot round. The university has announced the complete BHU UG 2024 mop-up round schedule. According to the official schedule, the choice-editing facility will be available from October 4.
As per BHU, to determine the final vacancy for the mop-up round allotment, the withdrawal option will be deactivated from October 1 at 11:59 pm until the completion of the mop-up round allotment process. The official notice states, “Mop-up round shall be applicable for all UG courses including practical test-based courses provided that the candidate has appeared in respective practical test and has qualified.”
BHU Mop-Up Round Counselling 2024: Eligibility
As per BHU, The following will be the eligible candidates for mop-up round allotment
- The candidates who had cancelled or withdrawn their allotted seat.
- The candidates who defaulted or did not pay fee after seat allotment.
- Waitlisted candidates in regular and spot rounds.
BHU UG Counselling 2024: Choice filling deadline for mop-up round
As per the BHU UG 2024 mop-up round schedule, candidates are required to submit their preferences by October 5, 11: 59 pm. The BHU official notice read, “There will be only online registration for mop-up. The eligible candidates will have to register online for Mop-Up Allotment by editing their profile and preferences (if required) on Samarth Portal.”

BHU UG Mop-up Round 2024: Seat allotment dates
The BHU UG 2024 mop-up round seat allotment result will be declared on October 7 at 5 pm. Candidates shortlisted in the BHU mop-up round 2024 are required to pay the acceptance fee by October 8, 11:59 pm. Seat allotment for round 2 is scheduled on October 9, at 5 pm if required.
