BCECEB has cited ‘unavoidable technical reasons’ for the postponement of ITICAT counselling 2025.
The round 2 seat allotment result for the Bihar Industrial Training Institute Competitive Admission Test (ITICAT 2025) has been cancelled by the authorities due to technical reasons. The document verification and admission programme scheduled for August 17 to August 19 has also been postponed accordingly.
The revised dates for the second round of ITICAT counselling 2025 will be updated soon on the official website of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) - bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The board will release a fresh seat allotment list for round 2 of the allocation process.
After the declaration of the revised seat allotment list for Bihar ITICAT 2025, the selected candidates should download the provisional allotment order within the stipulated time. The allotment order, along with the choice slip, has to be brought to the reporting or nodal centre for the document verification process.
Bihar ITICAT 2025: Counselling
Candidates who have been allotted an upgraded seat during the second round of the Bihar ITICAT admission counselling must bring the document verification slip they received in the first round. If their seat has not been upgraded and the previously allotted seat has been retained, the candidates must take admission to the seat; otherwise, it will be added to the list of vacancies.
According to the BCECEB guidelines for ITICAT 2025, 75% of all seats in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) will be reserved for students belonging to the particular district. The remaining 25% of the seats will be open to applicants from all districts of the state. There will be no district restriction for admission to Women ITIs.
