Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2025: Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Out of 1,799 vacancies, 614 are reserved for women candidates across various categories.
The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has issued the notification for the Bihar Police Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment exam 2025. The registration process for the Bihar Police SI recruitment exam 2025 will commence from September 26.
A total of 1,799 vacancies for Bihar Police Sub-Inspector (SI) 2025 have been announced, as per the Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2025 PDF, including positions for Sub-Inspector (Daroga) in the Home (Police) Department of Bihar. Out of the total vacancies, 614 vacancies are reserved for women candidates.
To register for the exam, candidates from all categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Candidates will have to upload a recent colour photograph with a white background, sized 15–25 KB in .jpg/.jpeg/.gif format. Candidates will also have to upload separate signatures in English and Hindi on a white background using black or blue ink.
Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria
Eligible candidates can register for the recruitment exam through the official website at bpssc.bihar.gov.in. To be eligible for the exam, a candidate should be an Indian citizen. Men, women, and third-gender candidates can apply.
As per the educational requirements, candidates should have passed a graduate degree from a recognised university or an equivalent examination recognised by the state government by August 1, 2025.
Candidates’ age limit will be calculated as of August 1, 2025. However, those who meet the maximum age limit prescribed by the government as of August 1, 2024, are also eligible to apply based on age criteria.
