BIMTECH records 100% placement with Rs 24.67 lakh as highest salary

BIMTECH Placement: The PGDM 2020-22 students secured Rs 9.38 lakh average salary
NEW DELHI: The Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida recorded 100 percent placement for the 2020-22 batch. The highest annual salary offered was Rs 24.67 lakh for an international placement.
According to a statement from BIMTECH, the average salary offered to its students has increased up to 16.23 percent compared to last year's placement. The institute said that the average salary offered was Rs 9.38 lakh per annum, and the highest salary offered among the domestic placements was Rs 18 lakh.
Most BIMTECH students were recruited by companies from the sectors of consulting, information technology (IT) and IT-enabled services (ITeS), constituting 48 percent of the total recruitment. This was followed by the banking, financial services and manufacturing sectors.

Out of the total number of companies that participated in the BIMTECH placement drive, 30 percent were new companies, claims the statement. According to the statement, companies such as Bain Capability Network, Kantar, Viacom 18, Hitachi, Dabur India Ltd, General Mills, Sobha Reality Group, Reliance BP, Yokohama off-Highway Tires, among others were new recruiters.
As per the statement, leading companies such as Mazars, Maruti Suzuki, Deloitte, Mindtree, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, MongoDB, TCS, SBI Cards, ICICI Bank, Hyundai, TVS, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, Reliance Retail, Titan, among others, have participated in the BIMTECH placement drive.

According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) data, 401 students out of the 411 students who graduated from BIMTECH in the academic year 2019-20 were placed with a median salary of Rs 8.03 lakh per annum.
