BIMTECH welcomes 480 students for 37th Commencement Day
BIMTECH PGDM Admission 2024: This year’s enrolment reflects a balanced gender distribution and a national appeal, with students joining from across the country.

NEW DELHI: Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) has commenced the latest academic session (2024-26) with enrolment of over 480 students across its four flagship two-year full-time programs: PGDM, PGDM (International Business), PGDM (Insurance Business Management), and PGDM (Retail Management).
The 37th “Deeksharambh” ceremony, a hallmark of BIMTECH’s traditions, featured esteemed dignitaries including Chief Guest Abhishek Tiwary, Guest of Honour Major General Rajesh Kumar Jha (Retd.), and Prabina Rajib, Director of BIMTECH.
Prabina Rajib, expressed pride in welcoming a diverse and ambitious group of students, highlighting the institute’s commitment to preparing future business leaders equipped with technological proficiency and creative adaptability. In the ceremony, the institute's recent collaborations with international partners and industry leaders were highlighted, emphasising expanded opportunities for student development.
Abhishek Tiwary urged students to prioritise core skills, embrace technological advancements, and foster a spirit of inquiry and networking. Major General Rajesh Kumar Jha imparted wisdom on leadership qualities, emphasising authenticity, resilience in adversity, and gratitude towards familial support.
Diverse enrolment in current batch
The current enrollment at BIMTECH demonstrates an equitable gender distribution and a nationwide appeal, attracting students from various regions including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi NCR, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Punjab, as well as Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Gujarat, and Assam. The student body encompasses a diverse array of academic backgrounds encompassing fields such as Commerce, Engineering, Science, Humanities, Management, and other disciplines, illustrating the interdisciplinary nature of BIMTECH's academic offerings.
