• Applicants who have passed class 12 or its equivalent examination from any central or state board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

In case, a student wants to opt for the best engineering branch at BITS, then they secure at least 370-380 marks as it is considered a good BITSAT 2022 score. The average score for BITSAT 2022 is more than 300 and to get admission in other engineering branches, and 290 plus marks are considered good enough for the admission to BITS.

1. In case of a tie, student with higher score in Mathematics/ Biology will be given higher rank.

2. If a tie still persists, student with higher score in Physics will be given higher rank.

3. If a tie still persists, student with higher score in Chemistry will be given higher rank.

4. If a tie still persists, PCB/ PCM marks obtained in class 12th will be considered to resolve the tie.

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, will conduct the BITSAT 2022 exam from July 2. The examination will be conducted for two shifts each day. The BITSAT 2022 shift 1 exam timing is from 9 AM to 12 Noon, while the shift 2 will be conducted between 2 PM to 5 PM. 

Candidates have to fill the BITSAT 2022 self declaration form regarding their physical health. Candidates have to mention if they have cough, fever, cold, breathing problem or not. The BITSAT self declaration form looks like the following image: 

Candidates appearing for the BITSAT 2022 exam should make sure they are not carrying any electronic items such as calculators, mobile and more to the exam centres. No bags shall be permitted inside the BITSAT exam centres. 

Candidates have to read and adhere to the BITSAT exam day guidelines during the examination day. Candidates have to carry the following things to the exam centre:

• BITSAT admit card 2022
• Face mask
• Hand sanitizer
• Transparent water bottle 
• Pen
• Valid ID proof
