BITSAT 2024 session 1 result today at bitsadmission.com; tie breaking policy

NEW DELHI: The Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS) will declare the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) result 2024 for session 1 today, June 4. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam will be able to access and download the BITSAT 2024 result by visiting the official website, bitsadmission.com.
Candidates will need login credentials, including their application number, password, and security captcha code, to download the BITSAT 2024 scorecard. Successful candidates will be eligible to register for the BITSAT 2024 counseling process. BITSAT 2024 session I was held from May 20 to 24. However, one extra BITSAT exam slot was reserved for absentees with valid reasons on May 28 from 9 am to 12 pm.
BITSAT 2024 Result: Tie breaking policy
In case of a tie, where two or more candidates obtain same scores in the BITSAT 2024 exam, the authorities will implement the following tie-breaking policy:
- Candidates with more marks in mathematics, biology will receive a higher rank.
- If a tie persists, candidates with more marks in physics will receive a higher rank.
- If a tie still persists, candidates with more marks in chemistry will receive a higher rank.
- Should a tie persist even after the above steps, the PCB, PCM marks obtained in Class 12 will be utilized to resolve the tie.
BITS Pilani session 2 registration closes on June 8
BITS Pilani session 2 registration has begun, and the last date to submit the application form is June 8. BITSAT 2024 session II is scheduled to take place from June 24 to 28. Additionally, the application form for BITS 2024 direct admissions (for board toppers) will remain available until June 25. Candidates who attempt both sessions of BITSAT 2024 will have their best score considered for admission.
