The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani has announced the BITSAT 2026 Iteration 1 seat allotment results for admissions to its Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses. Candidates can now check their allotment status through portal using login credentials shared in their registered email addresses. Notably, these credentials are different from the regular BITSAT login details.
Students who have been allotted seats in the first round must complete the admission confirmation process and pay the required fee by June 26, 2026. Candidates who have not received a seat in the first iteration may still be considered in subsequent rounds considering seat withdrawals and movement during counselling.
The institute conducts multiple admission iterations annually to fill seats across its campuses. Admission is based on candidates’ BITSAT 2026 scores and the programme preferences submitted during counselling.

Candidates seeking admission to B.E. programmes must meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, including a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12, with at least 60% marks in each subject individually, along with a valid BITSAT 2026 score.
The first iteration provides an indication of admission trends for current academic session. However, past trends suggest that candidates should not lose hope if they are waitlisted or unallotted in the initial round. Significant seat movement typically occurs in later iterations.
