New Delhi, May 16: As soon as the examination is over, candidates look up to their mentors, to know what their take was on the said examination. The Guru always guides. Careers360 approached one of the gurus, Mr. Harsh Gagrani, LegalEdge Tutorials, for his expert analysis on BLAT 2019. The examination was held on May 16, 2019, and is the entrance for admission to the five-year integrated law programme offered by the Banaras Hindu University. Overall Take -
According to Mr. Gagrani, the examination was easier compared to previous years. “There were many omission surprises” said Mr. Gagrani. “The reading comprehensions and puzzles were missing from the examination. Thus, the paper was not lengthy and students finished the paper 12 - 15 minutes before the allotted time.” BLAT 2019 was “easier and shorter” according to the expert.

Mr Gagrani informed Careers360, that the cutoff for last year was 160-170 marks, and the closing rank was around 250.
“As this year’s examination was easy, the expected cutoff for this year should be significantly higher than last year.” The expected cutoff according to Mr. Gagrani would be around 270-280 marks.
