Board Exams 2025: States conducting exams from today; over 15 lakh to appear for Maha HSC

NEW DELHI: Several states boards such as Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Nagaland will begin board exams 2025 from today, February 11, 2025. Over 15 lakh students will appear for Maharashtra HSC Class 12 board examination 2025 from February 11 to March 11. The board has imposed Section 144 at 3,373 exam centres situated across the state to prevent use of unfair means.
Of the total 15 lakh students, 8,10,348 are boys, 6,94,652 are girls, and 37 are transgender. Xerox centres within 500 meters of the exam centre will be closed on the exam days.
The exam will be administered in two shifts - morning shift from 11 am to 2 pm and afternoon shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. Students are required to carry the Maharashtra HSC Class 12 admit card along with their school ID to the exam hall.
JAC Class 10, 12 exams 2025 from today
Similarly, the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will begin the Class 10 and 12 board exams 2025 from today. The JAC board exams 2025 will continue till March 3. A total of 7,83,995 candidates will appear for both JAC Class 10, 12 exams .
While 4,33,886 candidates will appear in the secondary examinations, 3,50,109 candidates will take the intermediate exams for arts, science and commerce streams. A total of 1,296 centres have been set up for the secondary exams and 788 centres for the intermediate exams, TOI reported.
Nagaland board Class 12 exams 2025
Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) will also commence the board Class 12 exams from February 11. The Nagaland board Class 12 exams will continue till March 7. The NBSE Class 12 exams 2025 are scheduled to be held from 9 am to 12 noon each day. Students will have three-hour duration to complete their papers.
The board has also instructed students to arrive at their respective exam centres by 8:30 am to ensure a smooth start.
