BPSC 71st CCE prelims 2025 on August 30 for 1,250 vacancies; application from June 2

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced that the Integrated 71st Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination (BPSC 71st CCE) will be held tentatively on August 30 for 1,250 vacancies. The BPSC CCE application form 2025 will be made available on June 2 on the official website, bpsc.bihar.gov.in.

Recruitment to senior deputy collector, circular officer, sub-registrar, superintendent and other posts will be filled for different services and cadres in general administration department, Government of Bihar.

The BPSC 71st CCE registration process will begin on June 2. The last date to apply for the recruitment exam is June 30.

General category candidates will have to pay Rs 600 as application fee, SC, ST candidates of Bihar state and all female and reserved category candidates should pay Rs 150. Additionally, applicants will have to deposit Rs 200 as biometric fee for each examination.

Before filling the BPSC 71st CCE application form, candidates should ensure that they have a valid e-mail ID and mobile number. Candidates are required to enter personal and academic details while filling the application form. They will also have to upload the scanned images in jpg, jpeg format with maximum size of 15KB and dimension 220*100 pixels.

The BPSC 71st CCE preliminary exam will have multiple-choice questions carrying 150 marks. The exam will be held for a duration of two hours. There will be negative marking in the preliminary exam. One third of the marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Only candidates who qualify the BPSC CCE prelims will be eligible for the Mains exam. “The number of candidates to be selected for the Main Examination will be ten (10) times the total number of notified vacancies. All candidates obtaining the same cut off marks category-wise will be selected for the Main Examination,” the commission said.
