BPSC TRE 4.0 registration 2026 begins for 32,388 posts; check class-wise vacancies, important dates

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has started the online application process for the School Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE-4.0). The commission has invited applications for 32,388 school teacher posts across Classes 1 to 5, 6 to 8, 9 to 10 and 11 to 12. Registration began today, and candidates have time till October 26 to apply online. Exam dates have not been announced yet.

BPSC TRE 4.0 vacancies have been divided across four class groups. A total of 3,847 posts are available for Classes 1 to 5, while Classes 6 to 8 have 8,563 vacancies. For Classes 9 to 10, BPSC has announced 3,877 posts, while the highest number of vacancies, 16,101, is for Classes 11 to 12.

BPSC TRE 4.0 Recruitment 2026: Steps to apply online

To apply online, candidates will have to get themselves registered on the commission's online application portal.

• Go to the official BPSC website, bpsc.bihar.gov.in
• On homepage, complete the One Time Registration (OTR)
• Log in to the application portal using the registered mobile number/email ID and password
• Fill in details like address, qualification and other required information
• Select TRE-4.0 application under Advertisement Number 15/2026
• Enter the required details and upload the documents in the prescribed format
• Complete the application fee/payment process
• Review all details carefully before submitting the application
• Submit the application form
• Download a copy for future references

Certain details entered during OTR, including the candidate's name, parents' names, gender, Aadhaar details and date of birth, cannot be changed through the OTR process. BPSC does not accept applications through courier, post or at the counter; applications have to be submitted online.
