BSE Odisha OSSTET admit card 2025 soon; exam pattern, marking scheme, qualifying criteria

NEW DELHI: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha will issue the admit card for the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2025 soon. Candidates who applied for the exam will be able to download the OSSTET admit card 2025 from the official website, bseodisha.ac.in.

In order to download the OSSTET 2025 admit card, applicants will need to use their mobile number and One Time Password (OTP) received on their number.

OSSTET 2025 will be conducted for the appointment of candidates as teachers in secondary schools in the state. The test is conducted once a year.

As per the OSSTET 2025 exam pattern, there will be two papers. A candidate will be appearing for one paper based on their eligibility. The duration of each paper will be two hours and 30 minutes. Each paper will comprise 150 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 150 marks. There will be four sections in each paper.

In section I, Language I, Odia will be compulsory for all categories of posts. In section-II, Language II, English will be compulsory for all categories of posts. In section-III, under stream TGT (Arts) and TGT (Science for both PCM & CBZ), the questions will be in English. The questions in other streams like Classical Teacher (Sanskrit/ Telugu/ Urdu) and Hindi Teacher will be in the respective languages/ scripts. The questions in Section III for Paper-II (Category-II- Physical Education Teacher) will be in English. In Section-IV the questions in Child Development, Pedagogy, School Management and Evaluation will be in English and compulsory for both the categories.

There will not be any negative marking for incorrect answers in the exam. The minimum passing marks required for qualifying the exam is 45% (68 out of 150) for candidates belonging to the general category and 35% (53 marks out of 150) for SC, ST, PH, and SEBC aspirants.
