The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the admit cards for candidates appearing in the secondary special examination 2026 and secondary compartment examination 2026. The admit card link is now active on official websites-exam.biharboardonline.org and biharboardonline.com. Schools can download the same until May 6, 2026.
The exam will be conducted in two phases. The internal assessment and practical examinations are scheduled from April 29 to April 30, 2026, while the theory examinations will be held from May 2 to May 6, 2026. The students will have to appear at the examination centres mentioned on their admit cards as per the schedule. They should also follow the guidelines mentioned on the same.
BSEB has directed school heads to download the admit cards, verify details, and distribute them to students after signing and stamping them. Schools have also been asked to maintain proper records of distribution.

Students are advised to collect their admit cards from their respective schools well before the exams.
The board has shared that only those students who have been declared ‘sent-up’ by their schools will be allowed to appear. Students whose registrations have been cancelled will not be permitted to sit for the examinations.

For visually impaired candidates, the BSEB matric exams in Home Science (in place of Mathematics) and Music (in place of Science) will be conducted as per the old syllabus. Accordingly, they will appear for Music instead of Science in the first shift on May 4, and for Home Science instead of Mathematics in the first shift on May 5, 2026.
