The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has declared the Bihar Sakshamta Pariksha Phase 5 result 2026 today at 4 pm. Candidates who appeared for the competency test for local body teachers can check their results on the official website, bsebsakshamta.com. A total of 4,353 teacher candidates passed the exam, marking overall pass percentage of 30%.
The Sakshamta Pariksha Phase 5 examination was conducted from June 5 to June 8, 2026, for teachers working in primary, middle, secondary and higher secondary schools, including physical education teachers and librarians appointed by local bodies in Bihar.
The provisional answer key was released on June 18, and candidates were allowed to raise objections against it until June 21, 2026.
As per BSEB norms, general category candidates need to score at least 40 percent marks to qualify. Backward Class (BC) candidates require 36.5%, while the qualifying criteria for extremely backward class (EBC) candidates is 34%. Scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), differently-abled, and female candidates need to score 32 percent to clear the exam.
BSEB Bihar Sakshamta Pariksha 5 Result 2026
For the BSEB Sakshamta Pariksha 5 exam, a total of 14,512 teacher candidates appeared, including 6,559 male and 7,953 female candidates. Of these, a total of 4,353 candidates cleared the exam, consisting of 1,870 male and 2,483 female teacher candidates. The statistics for Sakshamta Pariksha 5 result 2026 are shown in the table below.

As per the BSEB press release, combining all five competency examinations, a total of 2,71,133 teacher candidates have passed.

Candidates who clear the Sakshamta Pariksha are considered eligible to continue in their current teaching posts under local bodies. Those who fail to qualify may get another opportunity in subsequent phases of the competency test, as per BSEB norms.
Next steps
After downloading results, candidates must proceed to document verification and counseling. This involves attending a district-level counseling session, where certificates, documents, and biometric data will be checked and validated. Upon successful verification, candidates will receive an official allotment or joining letter, confirming their designation as a regular state government teacher.
