JoSAA 2026 Mock Seat Allotment LIVE: Round 1 result today; choice filling, counselling and cut-off updates

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment 2026 Round 1 result today at 2 pm on the official website, josaa.nic.in. Candidates who completed registration and saved their choices by June 7, will be able to check their tentative seat allotment through their candidate login.

JoSAA mock allotment gives candidates an estimate of the college and course they may secure based on their JEE rank and the choices filled. Since the allotment is provisional, candidates can use the outcome to review and modify their preferences before the final choice-locking deadline.

Candidates who save or modify their choices by June 9, will also be considered for mock seat allotment round 2, scheduled to be released on June 10. Based on the mock allotment results, aspirants can add, or remove institute-course preferences to improve their chances of securing a preferred seat.

Meanwhile, the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) will announce the MET 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result today, June 8. The seat allotment has been prepared considering candidates’ MET ranks, filled preferences, and available seats. Those who will be allotted seats must complete the admission confirmation process and pay the required fee before deadline to retain their seat.

Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi counselling process for admission to BTech and BArch programmes is currently in progress. Eligible candidates can register, pay the counselling fee, and fill their preferred choices for participating institutes, including Delhi Technological University, Netaji Subhas University of Technology, and Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi.

Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) 2026 registration is also ongoing at the Samarth portal for admissions to AKTU-affiliated engineering and professional colleges till June 15.
