CA Foundation result 2024 declared for September session at icai.nic.in; 19.67% qualify

Check NowNEW DELHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the CA Foundation results 2024 for the September session. Those who appeared in the ICAI CA September exam 2024 will be able to view and download their CA results using their registration number and roll number on the result link hosted on the official website, icai.nic.in. The ICAI informed candidates that the statement of marks for CA Foundation results 2024 will be sent by post, soon after the declaration of result. “However, in case you do not receive the same, for any reason, within 4-5 weeks from the date of declaration of results, you may write to dms_examhelpline@icai.in.”
The institute will not issue any pass certificate or merit list. As per the passing criteria, candidates obtaining a minimum of 70% marks will be declared “Pass with Distinction” and such remarks will be indicated in the CA scorecard.
Candidates who have secured a minimum of 40 marks in each paper and 50% marks in aggregate of all the 4 papers in one sitting will be declared as qualified. They should note that paper 3 and 4 has negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer. Darkening multiple answers will also be considered a wrong response.

The institute announced recently that the CA Foundation January 2025 session exams will be held on January 12, 14, 16 and 18.
In the June 2024 session, a total of 7,766 male and 5,983 female candidates were declared pass and recorded an overall pass percentage of 14.96%.
