CAT 2018 Admit Card to be released on October 24; Know how to download

NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 22: IIM Calcutta will release the CAT 2018 admit card on October 24. The same will be available online on the official website for download from 1:00 PM onwards. Candidates who have successfully applied for the test will be able to download the admit card of CAT 2018 by logging in with their CAT user id and password. It’s a must-have document to appear for the exam. IIM Calcutta will not send the admit card to any candidate by post. It will only be available online.

How to download CAT 2018 Admit Card?

Simply follow the steps given below to download the admit card of CAT 2018 exam.

• Candidates can visit the official website of CAT 2018

• Log in with CAT user ID and Password

• CAT 2018 admit card will appear on the screen

• Click on the Download button to save the PDF file of the admit card

• Candidates are advised to print at least two copies of the admit card and keep the soft copy for future reference.

Issues while downloading CAT 2018 Admit card

There have been some cases in the past where candidates have faced problems in downloading the admit card. In case you also face an issue while downloading the admit card, here are the solutions.

If you forget login credentials – In case of forgetting the login ID and password generated at the time of registration, you can click on the ‘Forget Password’ tab. You will receive a link to reset the password on your registered email address. Simply click on the link to generate a new password.

Details on the Admit Card

CAT 2018 admit card will display the following details -

• Name of the candidate

• Photograph & Signature of the candidate

• Test Venue details

• Exam day instructions

• Date of Birth of the candidate

• Category

• Date & Exam Slot

• Test System Number

Apart from CAT Admit Card 2018, the candidates will also need to carry an original photo id proof (DL, Voter ID, Aadhar ID, etc.) on the day of the exam. Candidates are also requested to read all the exam day instructions carefully given on the admit card.
